The Foundation has longstanding relationships and ongoing programs in 8 provinces.

In collaboration with the Chinese government, we support four Sunbeam Villages, a family style living program for older and special needs orphaned children. Children are able to leave an impersonal institution and join a nurturing foster family. In 2010, the Foundation will open its 5th Sunbeam Village in China.

Currently we care for 250 children in our Sunbeam Villages, and because of the excellent care and attention children receive many of them have been able to be adopted.

Bobai Foster Care Center provides families for 33 abandoned children found locally. Seven of the children have been adopted by local Chinese families. The remaining 26 children, most of whom have special needs, continue to receive ongoing care from their foster families.

We have established various medical, educational and recreational programs throughout the country benefiting thousands of needy children.
